How to use network categories

Categories help you scan related mainnets, but they are not certification labels. A chain can be EVM-compatible, an L2, an OP Stack network, or a ZK rollup while still having different bridge assumptions, finality expectations, explorer support, RPC limits, and operational risk.

Start with the category when you need a comparison set, then use the individual status page for the chain ID, gas token, public RPC endpoint, explorer, source links, and review timestamp.
